I am not a big romance reader or fan, but this story is a little different. A stranger come to a small town in Alaska and gets a job as a waitress in the local tavern. She is immediately liked by every because of her quiet demeanor and her ability to just listen to them. She is attracted to a local fisherman and the attraction is mutual. He wants more but he is very patient with her. Eventually she starts to thaw and trust him. Then trouble comes to town.
